Siphendulwe Botha is a 35-year-old Analytical Chemist. The always reliable (according to her colleagues) “Spesh” began her journey with AECI SprayPave in 2015 and is one of the more senior lab members. She is involved in training of students, R&D and general quality control.
Spesh has a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and is pursuing a BSc Environmental Management degree through UNISA. She did her in-service training at Chevron Refinery and continued as an analyst before moving to Intertek. From there she joined to the AECI Much Asphalt group in AECI SprayPave’s Durban lab.
“There is so much I enjoy about this job. I love meeting people and helping students develop and complete their qualifications. The challenge of providing consistently high-quality products for our customers is rewarding when you are helping the business to increase revenue and reduce costs,” says Spesh.
